Very pleasant holiday rental with private swimming pool 8km from the centre of the superb city of Avignon and the famous Palais des Papes. A pretty enclosed and green garden surrounds the holiday villa and offers you its freshness in a quiet district of Les Angles, located along the right bank of the Rhône, a former holiday resort highly prized by the rich Vauclusiens. The heart of this large village is a true 14th century jewel, perched on a cliff and offering a breathtaking view of the Cité des Papes and the valley.Not far away, many activities await you: mountain biking, hiking, swimming and canoeing in Le Gardon, climbing, cycle tourism... Among the must-see visits: the Pont du Gard, the Luberon, and a few minutes away, Avignon, its Palace of the Popes built in the 14th century and its very lively square, its Opera House, its famous Bridge, the museums of the Petit palais and the Palais du Roure, its historic centre surrounded by ramparts, with old alleys, private mansions, restored facades, and especially, its theatre festival in July. A few minutes from your holiday home, stroll along the banks of the Barthelasse Island, with its lively dance halls by the water.
