This stone holiday house with private above-ground swimming pool (7.3mx 3.75, 1.3m deep) is quietly located in a large garden with lawn. It is very close to the village and restaurants, bars, bakery and café. Les Eyzies, a pretty village by the river, offers museums dedicated to prehistory, bars, cafés and even canoe hire. Périgueux and its cathedral (22 km), are worth a visit. Its superb Wednesday market, museums and fascinating cobbled streets will seduce lovers of authenticity. The city also offers cinemas, many shops, bars and restaurants. A little further on, the historic city of Sarlat (45 km to the south-east) will delight lovers of medieval heritage and picturesque buildings. La Roque-Gageac and Domme are less than an hour away. You can also visit the famous Saint-Emilion wine region, 116 km to the east. 50 km to the southwest, Bergerac is the place to be: anchored on the banks of the Dordogne, it reveals its assets such as its famous vineyards around Monbazillac (8 km away), its cuisine made especially from locally produced foie gras. The region is a great playground for anyone who wants to discover the surroundings by canoe.
