Beautiful independent holiday house in the countryside with a swimming pool and no neighbours, in the heart of Provence, enjoying a magnificent view over the rounded landscape of the Vaucluse from the heights of the adorable perched village of Le Barroux. Only 1h30 from the Mediterranean beaches, nestled between Carpentras and Avignon, in the Ventoux region, dominated by a magnificent 12th century castle, with its listed gardens, Le Barroux dominates a plain dotted with vines, lavender and olive trees. This exquisite holiday rental is located below the owners' house (but without vis-à-vis) who give you free access to their splendid swimming pool. Overlooking the small road that leads up to the village, nestled in the brooms, this small, bright and modern house, equipped with large bay windows opening onto nature, has a comfortable and warm interior, as well as a very beautiful panoramic terrace. The perched village of Le Barroux is worth a visit on its own, with its pretty flowered streets paved with stones. It offers a magnificent spectacle on the Comtat wine plain, the Monts de Vaucluse, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Ventoux. You will be very quiet there, and you can discover picturesque and superb houses. Not far away, Paty Lake nestles in gentle wooded hills. Between Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange and the Luberon, you will not have enough time to recharge your batteries in these Roman cities, these listed villages, with architectural wonders such as the Ancient Theatre, the Arc-de-Triomphe or the Popes' Palace, castles and abbeys. Do not miss to discover the gastronomy of the Vaucluse, very famous, with its fruits (olives, strawberries, cherries), its great wines (Côtes du Rhône wines). 20 minutes away, the Wave Island Water Park awaits you for a fantastic and refreshing day down its huge slides.
