This beautiful holiday home with private swimming pool nestles on a huge wooded plot of land, only 25km from the Mediterranean beaches, in the small medieval village of Villetelle, 7km from Lunel, on the beautiful banks of the Vidourle. Richly furnished, with many openings to the outside and high quality furniture, this holiday rental, with its exposed beams and stone arches, awaits you for a relaxing holiday in Occitania. Beautiful walks take place around the village which abounds in archaeological treasures, including the extraordinary site of Ambrussum and its 12th century church. A nice family walk will lead you through the garrigue on the way to the capitelles, small dry stone constructions that can be found all over the region. Within a radius of 20km, many points of interest are to be discovered: in addition to the visit of Aigues-Mortes, a fortified town and a monument in itself, and Lunel, a thousand-year-old city, the Camargue extends its arms to you, with its wild landscapes, its immaculate salt marshes, its ponds sheltering numerous birds, and its animals in freedom (horses, bulls). You will be able to cross it by quad bike, 4X4, on horseback of course, in a horse-drawn carriage, in a kayak, or to fly over it in a helicopter. For more urban visits, the lively and sumptuous cities of Nîmes (30km), Montpellier (34km), Arles (54km), or even Sète, Avignon, Agde, Béziers or Narbonne, are at your disposal. The small seaside resorts of Grau-du-Roi, Palavas-les-Flots or La Grande-Motte, with pretty marinas, superb and unspoilt fine sandy beaches, and many water sports activities (kite-surfing, water-skiing...) are 30 minutes away.
