The nearby town of Chablis is also well worth a visit. The road to Chablis takes you through a beautiful rolling landscape with many vineyards. The estate awaits you in the heart of Romanesque Burgundy. To the east are the town of Fontainebleau and its old castle, and the historic village of Sens. Drive or take the train to Paris and spend a day exploring the French capital. On September 15, truffle season opens in Burgundy with a large truffle market. Guided tours and tastings are also offered around this theme.
