GROUND FLOOR: spacious living-room with fireplace and large glass window facing on to the garden; dining room with fireplace and access to external veranda with motorized awning where it is possible to eat “al fresco”; kitchen with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher; downstairs bathroom and 1 storage room with larder.
FIRST FLOOR: mezzanine to be used as a reading and TV room with a view of the garden; 1 large double bedroom with balcony and French windows and bathroom with bathtub; 1 single bedroom with bathroom and shower.
SECOND FLOOR: 3 twin bedrooms, one of which has beds that can be joined together; 2 bathrooms with shower. Vicenza is known as the city of Palladio, who realized numerous examples of its architecture in the late Renaissance. It is one of Italy’s most important places of art and features on the UNESCO list of world human heritage sites.
Casa Valmara is located in a delightful little town, Valmarana ,set on the top of a hill that is just 8 Km from Vicenza . Apart from a church, the town has got only a pizzeria and a restaurant, whilst all the necessary services can be found in Sant' Agostino, which is around 1 Km away.
In the area around Vicenza there are numerous villas designed by Palladio, like La Rotonda. After visiting La Rotonda J. W. Goethe wrote: "Architectural art has possibly never achieved such a degree of magnificence".
The furniture in Casa Valmara is of excellent quality. It has Wi Fi internet connection, satellite TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Outside there is a cool veranda with motorized awning for eating “al fresco” and a terrace with climbing plants that overlooks the valley. A motorway runs along the bottom of the valley, very far away as the crow flies, and does not cause the slightest disturbance.
On the other side of the garden guests can use a private 12 x 5 m swimming pool with changing room.
The property is in an excellent position for visiting Vicenza, as well as other cities of art such as Padua (45 Km), Verona( 54) and Venice (75).Small pets only allowed, on request.
