This beautiful holiday home with private pool is located in a beautiful castle in the heart of the Cévennes. 1km from the village of St-Jean-du-Pin, it is ideal for an extraordinary stay that will leave you with excellent memories. Children can run and enjoy the games on the large grounds (2000m²) equipped with a swing, bowling alley and table tennis table, or swim in the huge private swimming pool (17 x 8 metres). From the rooms to the decoration of character in this beautiful building flanked by two towers and adorned with a beautiful glass roof, an atmosphere full of the history of this place emerges. You can even see animals, including peacocks, in the grounds' enclosures. There is also a real chapel in the castle, to see. In Alès (4 km) you will find very nice restaurants and shops, a large public swimming pool and in summer, Alès-plage offers friendly activities for young and old on sandy beaches along the river. The mechanical centre offers to rent sports cars (or to train on the track with your own vehicle). Don't miss to visit this beautiful city and its superb gardens, as well as Uzès, a magnificently maintained medieval city, Anduze and its unique exotic park, and to make pretty hikes in the Cévennes, taking for example the steam train of St Jean du Gard through magnificent landscapes, hilly and green. The owners, very friendly, sometimes live in an apartment in the other part of the castle and can tell you its story. Carport for 4 cars. 2 bedrooms give access to 2 other bedrooms.
