Les Flots Bleus 4* campsite is ideally located 200 m from the sea, with direct access to the superb 10 km long sandy beach facing the Ile de Ré.... What a panorama!
You're staying on the La Faute-sur-Mer peninsula, just a few minutes from L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer, a charming commune renowned for its picturesque fishing port and mussel and oyster beds. Close to the Ile de Ré, La Rochelle and Les Sables d'Olonne, this human-sized campsite is the ideal starting point for lovely walks in the surrounding area and, more broadly, for discovering the Vendée coast.
When you return from your excursions, relax in the heated indoor swimming pool, while the younger ones have a great time in the paddling pool.
There's no club spirit here, just a quiet, family-friendly campsite for a quiet, friendly stay. - Aquatic area:
Les Flots Bleus campsite has a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool (13 m long) with a removable roof. Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., it guarantees pleasant bathing moments in all seasons, whatever the weather.
A paddling pool is available for the little ones.
Opening dates and times for aquatic areas:
- Open all season: 10am to 8pm.
- Heated pool all season: open/discovered according to weather conditions.
NB: Only short swimsuits, bikinis, 1-piece swimsuits and short-sleeved lycra UV-resistant T-shirts may be worn. Children under parental supervision. Swimming pool unsupervised.
All times are approximate and subject to change. Access to aquatic areas may be subject to restrictions, depending on weather and sanitary conditions, and any maintenance work in progress at the time of your stay.
- Entertainment:
Here, the emphasis is on peace and quiet, where you can take time for yourself and enjoy reading or playing board games with your family.
However, the campsite also offers occasional activities during the spring vacations, such as aquagym and activities for the whole family (2 activities per week).
During the July/August vacations, the activities accelerate during the day, with sporting activities such as pétanque competitions, outings for teenagers, family sandcastle competitions... entertainment for all ages.
In the evening, head for the town center of the small family resort of La Faute-sur-Mer, just 900 m from the campsite. It's a great place to stroll around and discover its small restaurants and friendly bars; a great place to enjoy an ice cream or a drink on the terrace. There's plenty of entertainment on offer near the marina during the summer months. You can also take advantage of the Casino des Dunes and its slot machines!
Many activities are available on site: children's playground, table soccer (for a fee), trampoline, petanque pitch, ping-pong table and nearby hiking trails...
And let's not forget the proximity of the beach, just 200 m from the campsite; the pleasures of the ocean and the many water sports and sailing activities are yours for the taking!
Children's club (4 to 10 years): open during the summer school vacations (opening times posted on site): arts and crafts, painting, treasure hunts... Also indoor/outdoor games, trampolines and inflatables. You and your children can even join in the Pirouette mascot show at the mini disco... A great opportunity to get together with friends and make new ones!

Bar/Brasserie, snack bar (takeaway or on site) open 5 days a week throughout the low season and 7 days a week in July and August, during the summer school vacations, for a friendly get-together and a break on the terrace.
The campsite has free Wifi access throughout (reception quality is random, depending on geographical location, campsite traffic and number of users connected).
Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Loan of vacuum cleaner, toaster and iron (on request from reception in exchange for ID, subject to availability).
The town center and shops are less than a kilometer away.
