The Farmhouse Le Selve is entirely handmade in stone and dates back to the late millesettecento; the date has been obtained from an ancient estimate made by the Catholic Church. On arrival our guests are welcomed with drinks and fresh fruit in season.The owner will give a taste of the local food to the guests.
The structure is facing South; you will therefore have the sun all for yourselves from 07.00 in the morning.
To the South and West of the Farmhouse you will find a spacious garden with a
comfortable gazebo totally handmade out of solid wood, where, sheltered from the sun, you can enjoy your meals whilst admiring the wonderful array of multi coloured roses. You may, if you wish, prepare succulent grilled meat or fish using the stone built barbecue.
On entering the Farmhouse you will find a large living room with the pavement made out of mosaic stone and an oak beamed ceiling. The room has large comfortable sofas from where you can watch satellite TV programmes. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen which has been carefully and meticulously put together by local craftsmen using the most refined materials; walls have been tiled using hand painted ceramic tiles A full size kitchen hob with a ventilated oven is complete with all the necessary household appliances that you may need. In the corner of this cosy environment there is also a table and chairs which comfortably sits 7 people. On the same floor on the opposite side of the kitchen is a small storeroom where you will find the ironing equipment as well as the first aid box. Nearby is also a fully fitted bathroom with a Jacuzzi shower.
Upstairs you will find the sleeping area; oak parquet flooring with three bedrooms. One bedroom is particularly big; it has a double bed made out of cast iron and can, if necessary; also accommodate an additional single bed and a baby's cot. The second bedroom also has a double bed and the last bedroom contains two single beds. On the same floor there is a large and elegant bathroom tiled in baroque style, with a corner bath tub. Also at your disposal each occupant will be provided with a set of bath linen consisting of a bathrobe and towel.
At the back of the house you will find the utility room, with everything you may need for your laundry needs and other domestic appliances.
By the side of the house stone steps have been purposely built which lead you to the terraced swimming pool. From here you can admire the spectacular and breathtaking views before diving into the pool or soaking up the sun whilst lying on the comfortable sun lounges, sipping a cool drink, which can be found in a small fridge located near the pool.
Everything we have described and more can be found at our exclusive and discrete Farmhouse Le Selve where we can ensure your stay will be in total privacy and safety in the knowledge that staff who occupy a nearby dépendance will be close at hand, if necessary, for any of your needs or demands.
