This magnificent holiday apartment, nestled in the natural setting of the Colli Berici, is the result of the extensive renovation of a 17th century building. You will stay here in a refined atmosphere, in a setting that harmoniously blends old wooden and stone elements with modern and refined design. The rental extends over 2 floors and includes a living room (with sofa bed), and a mezzanine with double bed. The apartment overlooks a pretty little square where you can park your car, and where the owner's famous restaurant is located. He is also a jury member in a well-known cooking TV show. Here you can have dinner and breakfast (on site, to be arranged with the owner) or use the restaurant's tables and chairs to sit outside and read a novel, or enjoy a good locally produced wine. Strategic location to discover the cultural, artistic and historical treasures of the region and to practice various sports activities. The landscape of this region presents some particularities. The fairly mild climate allows Mediterranean vegetation to develop, dominated by vineyards, olive groves, and almond trees, which combines with arid cliffs, rising up to 100 m high. An ideal climbing ground. The Colli Berici are full of cycle paths, including a path from Padua to Vicenza (35 km long) and one along the Bacchiglione river. Here you will enjoy a sublime view of "Le Ville Venete", such as "La Rotonda de Palladio", "Conti Lampertico", "Delicioza", "Moschini Rossi", San Martino de Vaneza castle, "Pisani-Creola" and the majestic "Barchessa", an old cereal storage barn. Another interesting tour runs along the Brenta River, to be done by bike or in "Burchiello", a typical Venetian boat dating from the 18th century. Perfect for a romantic little cruise between the "Ville Venete", ending in Venice in the magnificent basin of Saint Marc. The Colli Berici, with their many natural trails, are ideal for trekking, Nordic walking, and motocross. The cliff overlooking Lumignano, once a coral reef, is now very popular with climbers. The Veneto region includes several golf courses. There is an equestrian centre in the area. Take advantage of your stay to enjoy a wellness break in the thermal baths of Abano and Montegrotto Terme, famous for their thermal water. In one hour's drive, you can reach the beaches of Lake Garda. The mountains are also close: Asiago, Pasubio and Monte Grappa (about 100 km by car). This rental is located in the heart of Veneto, and its strategic position will allow you to easily access the most famous tourist sites: Vicenza, with its Palladian architecture is 20 km away, Padua and its magnificent Scrovegni Chapel is 36 km away, Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, is 50 km away, and the magnificent Venice is 78 km away. Other highlights are the pretty small towns and surrounding villages such as Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Asolo, Montagnana, Este, and Arquà Petrarca. To discover the local cuisine, plan a tour through the Colli Berici, where you can taste the region's culinary specialities and wines in the wine cellars, including Tai Rosso red wine, virgin olive oil, black truffles, various delicatessen products (Sopressa de Vicence, and Berico-Euganeo ham) and cheese, honey, and many other delicacies that you can buy directly from the producers or taste in the restaurants.
