In the countryside, this charming stone holiday rental has been remarkably restored and renovated. The owners have taken great care to combine the beautiful original elements, such as the beams and stone walls, with modern equipment. In addition, from the terrace of its private overflow pool, it enjoys a magnificent view. It is a few minutes by car from two towns, interesting historical bastides, classified in the "Most Beautiful Villages of France": Monflanquin, the nearest, 6 km away, with a farmers' market on Thursday mornings and several shops and restaurants. Monpazier, 19 km away, is considered to be the most typical example of a bastide in the whole of the southwest. Nearby, you will find Château de Biron, Château Gavaudan and Château de Bonaguil and a little further on, Château de Monbazillac and Château de Duras. There is an 18-hole golf course 8 km away, near Villleréal. For the outdoor enthusiast, there are many bike paths, trails, horseback riding opportunities (price per day or per hour) at 10 minutes by car. A popular pastime for visitors to the region is canoeing on the Dordogne River. The entire region is dotted with sunflower fields, golden stone buildings and cellars offering tastings of their vineyards.
