Holiday apartment in a semi-detached house located in the green hills around Vicenza, only 6 km from the Villa "La Rotanda" built by the architect Andrea Palladio. Here you can admire the landscapes and visit the cities and places of interest of the region: Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Verona, Treviso, the beaches of the Adriatic coast, Lake Garda, the spa resorts of Abano and Montegrotto. This large Napoleonic house, completely renovated, extends over two floors. The garden is a real paradise where you can rest after a day of visits or sports activities. The Berici hills are crossed by roads and cycle paths, such as the 35 km long road linking Padua to Vicenza along the Bacchiglione River. From here you will have a view of the magnificent Venetian villas: "La Rotonda" built by Palladio, Villa Conti Lampetico called "La Deliziosa", Villa Moschini Rossi, the castle of San Martino della Vaneza, Villa Pisani-Creola with its large barchessas (in French, Barchesse). A path winds along the Brenta River and can be used by bike. You can also take a romantic mini-cruise aboard a "burchiello", a typical 18th century Venetian boat that will take you past the Venetian villas before finishing its tour in Piazza San Marco in Venice. The Berici hills offer many trails that are suitable for trekking, Nordic walking and motorcycling. The cliffs above Lumignano serve as climbing routes. Within a radius of 50 km are 6 golf courses and close to the rental, an equestrian centre. For a relaxing day: Abano and Montegrotto thermal baths 30 km away. Within an hour's drive, you can reach the long beaches of the Adriatic coast or Lake Garda, which is full of many amusement parks. If you want to spend a day in the mountains: you will be less than 100 km from the Asiago highlands and can plan an excursion on the road to the 52 tunnels of Pasubio or climb Monte Grappa (1,800 m), from where, on a clear day, you will have a view of Venice and the Dolomites, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Art lovers will find their happiness: Vicenza and its Palladian architecture, Padua (35 km) with the Scrovegni Chapel and botanical gardens, Verona (60 km), the city of Romeo and Juliet, the only and only Venice (70 km). Beautiful medieval cities: Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Asolo, Montagnana, Este, Arquà Petrarca; and the Venetian villas with their beautiful gardens. We recommend that you take the wine and food route between plains and hills. Don't miss to discover the wine presses and cellars where you can taste various specialities.
