“Casa del Sole” is placed in a peculiar alley right in the centre of Taormina, a few steps away from the main and elegant boulevard ”corso Umberto”, the Duomo and from the Teatro Greco (Greek Theatre) suggestive stage for shows and events often starring world wide known artists…and all around it is a blooming of monuments, alleys, flowered courtyards, cafés, restaurants, boutiques and tourists…coming from the whole world. The house is the result of the restoration of an ancient shop and distinguishes itself for the linearity of its structure. The lodging is comfortable and outstands owing to the peculiarity of the materials - revetments coming from the local handicraft, Sicilian terracotta in the pavements, lava stone in the stairs - and to the ancient and modern style furnishings chosen with particular care by the owner. At the ground floor there is the daylight zone including a well-equipped cooking corner in brickwork while at the upper floor there is the sober bedroom looking onto Taormina’s life through a cute tiny balcony. A stereophonic, piped in music, system permits to enjoy music in all the rooms. Public parking in the vicinity (nearly 400 metres away). The town-centre of Taormina (groceries, shops, bars, restaurants, banks) is just 100 metres away. Railway station is 5 km away. Sea with sandy beach is 4 km away.
