Ancient hayloft (120 m2) that is completely independent and has been tastefully and carefully renovated located inside a small farm estate (20,000 m2) that produces wine, olive oil, marmalade and honey. All of which is near a small country hamlet (8 families) built on top of the ruins of an 11th century monastery. Peaceful position. From the property there are beautiful views of the Arno Valley and the Chianti hills. Well-kept garden (1000 m2) that is shaded, equipped and fenced-in with an original panoramic terrace. The floodlit, trapezoid-shaped swimming pool (approx. 70 m2 - min. 0.60 m - max. 2.50 m deep), which is covered by a hothouse like structure and is separated from the rest of the garden by hedges, is shared with owner who can directly access it without having to pass through the garden. The swimming pool is occasionally used by the owners. Parking. Internet access. Central heating. DISTANCES: 1 km from Montegonzi (food shop), 5 km Carvriglia (all kinds of shops), 10.5 km the Abbazia di Coltibuono and Montevarchi (all kinds of shops, tennis), 16 km Gaiole in Chianti, 17 km the Natural Park of Cavriglia (horse riding, swimming pool), 40 km Siena and Florence. ACCOMMODATION: Gr. fl.: large living/dining room (TV) with fireplace and access onto an equipped courtyard, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher) with small dining table, ancient oven, access to the outside and an overhead gallery with slanted ceiling with double divan bed, small pantry (washing machine). 1st fl. (bedrooms with slanted ceilings): 1 double bedroom, 1 small twin bedded room, 1 bathroom with bath. Comfortably furnished with some antique pieces. It is possible to hire 2 baby-beds (without bedlinen, to be requested at the time of booking and to be paid for on the spot). Telephone. Air conditioning in the bedrooms.
