In the Massif de La Vanoise, in the heart of Savoie, the charms of the mountain are revealed in the resort villages of Les Arcs. This area of winter sports developed in the 60s following the meeting of the high mountain guide Robert Blanc and the tourist planner Roger Godino. Their ambitious project to build an integrated station on a virgin territory led to the creation in 1968 of the Arcs Pierre Blanche, the first station of the domain, now called Les Arcs 1600.
Ski enthusiasts have all heard of the Arcs, and for good reason ! Of a total of 200 kilometers of trails, this unique area delights young and old by its diversity and the beauty of the landscapes that surround it. Since 2003, it is connected to the fields of Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne, forming the famous domain of Paradiski. With its 425 kilometers of pistes (between 1200 and 3250 meters above sea level), it is an idyllic place for ski enthusiasts ! Snowboard fans will also find their happiness at the Arcs 1600 snowpark. Accessible to all levels, beginners and experienced freestylers find themselves on structures maintained daily.
Les Arcs 1600 is the family resort par excellence of Les Arcs. Its friendly spirit is suitable for all age groups, who will appreciate the proximity of shops and activities. It is located less than ten minutes from Bourg Saint-Maurice, a small dynamic mountain village, thanks to the funicular. On these two sites, a great number of sporting and unusual activities take place in summer and winter.
In the summer, the Isère River offers a variety of water sports, including the internationally renowned Canoë-Kayak base in Boug Saint Maurice, which has a very good reputation. It presents many challenges, which has earned him to host several times the championships of France (and the world) in this discipline. Other activities are also on the program : rafting, canyoning, swimming in white waters... We fill up with sensations and emotions on the Isère river and we leave with a multitude of unforgettable memories. If you prefer to keep your feet on the mainland, several tennis courts will allow you to introduce yourself or to improve yourself in this sport. The Technic Tennis Academy organizes courses of all levels and tournaments on their sites in the wilderness.

The bistro (Place du Soleil) has homemade and Belgian beer. The owners are very welcoming. For shopping: the Lidl de Bourg St Maurice.

Free funicular to Bourg Saint Maurice. Free parking on Arc 1800 (attention: paying parking on Arc 1950). For hikers: possibility to go up on foot and come down for free by ski lifts. We have booked a paragliding flight via the Arc 1600 Tourist Office with DARENTASIA. Incredible flight with a nice and top instructor : Arthur, a real champion ! Choose like us the 45 min prestige flight for 180€, you won't regret it. Tip: car essential to reach the meeting point and landing in the valley... a little bit lost and that's normal. Honestly it's the best!
