To enjoy winter sports or simply get some fresh air, Les Menuires is the perfect setting. At the center of the Tarentaise valley, in the Savoy region, this ski resort emerged in the 1960s. From then on, the destination already benefitted from a sportive and dynamic image. Host of the slalom races during the 1992 Winter Olympics held in Albertville, Les Menuires' ski area is completed by the slopes of the Trois Vallées, which includes the prestigious valleys of Belleville, Méribel and Courchevel.
In the summertime, the resort is as lively and bustling as ever, offering many activities from hiking to mountain biking, and including Lessavaix's Via Ferrata. Whichever way you choose to go, the lush mountain pastures are well worth a visit. Besides, to give everyone a chance to discover the mountain, Les Menuires propose inclusive activities such as the Joëlette, an all-terrain one-wheeled chair allowing people with reduced mobility to safely enjoy hiking.
The Belleville valley is also renowned for its Baroque sanctuaries like Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie. This 17th century chapel, classified historic monument since 1949, exposes several masterpieces of the Savoyard Baroque art. Come see magnificent sculptures and altarpieces to discover this artistic style at its peak. Don't forget to pass by Notre-Dame-des-Grâces as well, accessible via shuttle bus. But let's not leave behind what truly brought recognition to the land of Savoy: the notorious chalets. Some farms allow you to become a dairy farmer for a day and learn how to produce traditional cheese. As for hikers, they can easily find shelters along the trails to rest on a hike lasting several days.

Knowing a little bit about the area, I would advise you a very good table: the brasserie "Le Belleville" where the choice of the menu is very varied, 10/10 cuisine, the welcome at the top and the prices more than reasonable. Then, to digest, a little walk on the lake not far from the center of Les Ménuires, with superb landscapes, water not very hot but clear and enough to take pictures like me. Enjoy your stay in Les Ménuires.

We are fond of good food and frankly, this is not what is missing in and around Les Menuires. Whether at altitude or in the resort, all you have to do is choose on the internet ("Le petit futé") : no mistake ! Make your choice according to your budget.
Winegrowers' Week

From January 8th to 12th, it's the winegrowers week in Les Menuires! Bordeaux, Champagne, Burgundy, Sancerre, Jura, Côtes-du-Rhône, Gard, all regions will be represented by talented winegrowers who will come to share their know-how and the fruit of their production with you. Are you interested? Then come to the sports center from 5:30 to 8:00 pm for delicious wine tasting evenings. Count 5€ per person.

From March 6th to 9th, it is the fourth edition of the festival "Les Menuires du Rire". After Artus and Arnaud Tsamère or Bun Hay Mean, and theatrical performances featuring "Le Prénom" or "Duel à David et Jonathown", it is Florent Peyre, the comedian, actor and imitator who will host this 2023 session. An edition that promises once again a show, mixing humor and magic for all desires.
