Located at the gates of the Crozon peninsula and the Armorique regional nature park, Pentrez invites you to the heart of Cornwall. Between beach, wild coast, picturesque hinterland and rich heritage, this beautiful village of Brittany reserves you many surprises.
In the heart of the Douarnenez bay, Pentrez beach offers you four kilometres of fine sand to relax or indulge in numerous water sports. Ideal for swimming, you can also spend time windsurfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing... If you prefer to enjoy the ocean in a more wild setting, it will only take you a few minutes to pass the cliffs along the beach and reach the beautiful cove of Caméros. After the beach, thrill seekers will be able to paraglide from the Caméros site to enjoy the beautiful Breton coast from the air.
Crossed by numerous paths, Pentrez is also a real invitation to strolls. Start by walking through the village to discover its rich heritage : the Gothic church of Sainte-Nicaise, built in the 16th century, the church of Saint-Côme and Saint-Damien, built at the same time, in the shape of a Latin cross, and the chapel of Saint-Jean. Then take one of the six hiking trails which, between sea and land, will allow you to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes of the commune and to unearth some treasures like the dolmens of Menez-Lié or Mine-Mein. And if you want to go further, join the "Customs Trail" (the GR 34) which runs along the whole Breton coast.
Also take advantage of your stay in Pentrez to discover all the riches of Finistère. Go to the tip of the Crozon peninsula, in Camaret-sur-Mer to appreciate its pretty port, its lively quays, its colourful houses and its Vauban tower, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. Then treat yourself to a day in the Armorique regional nature park, on the Aulne maritime tourist road which winds between green landscapes and wooded moors. You can visit magnificent cities of character like Le Faou or Landévennec. And do not hesitate, during your excursions, to make some greedy stops to taste the specialities of the soil : sea products, pancakes, cakes, cider...

We recommend the restaurant-bar "L'Oasis" in Plomardien, right next to Pentrez with a terrace and a magnificent view. Make the Tal ar Grip point.

In Douardenez, there is a very nice pizzeria: "Le Vintage". On the other side (with ocean view), don't miss the restaurant "La Plage": the reception is great and the mussels delicious. Visit one of the most beautiful villages of France (Locronan) and if you go towards Le Faou, you will pass on the magnificent bridge of Térénez, taken in its green setting and overhanging the boats.
