It is in the heart of the sumptuous Parc National des Ecrins that is the village of Vallouise. Cross-country skiers ? You are definitely in the right place as Vallouise offers you more than 35 kilometres of Nordic trails, walking through breathtaking landscapes along the valley's torrents.
Summer and winter alike, the Parc National des Ecrins allows its visitors to practice many sports, from simple initiation to high-level practice, thanks to the great diversity of its landscapes. It is also the second mountaineering site in France, and the meeting place for many sports races. Renowned as a climber's paradise, mountaineering and via ferrata sites abound in this park, which is also home to many bodies of water, lakes and rivers, where you can practise many water sports, from kayaking to rafting, including whitewater swimming and canyoning. Once the snow has melted, a "Bike Park" as well as numerous areas for mountain biking through the green valleys, for excursions to the open air.
