On the shores of the Costa Blanca, in southeastern Spain, Santa Pola is located along the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, just 17 kilometres from Alicante and 10 kilometres from its airport. Undeniably marked by the sea, it is the sea that has shaped its contours and history for centuries now. If Santa Pola will dazzle you with the splendour of its coastline, the old village is also worth a visit. With its old ramparts built in the 4th century, its very old port, its Renaissance-style fortress castle (now a huge museum) and its watchtowers that once protected the city from pirate invasions, Santa Pola will take you back to the heart of history. Visit the Cour d'Armes, the Duke of Arcos' Bastion, the Virgen de Loreto Chapel, the Halls built in 1935, stroll through the Calvario Square in the fishermen's district to see the beautiful hermitage of the early 20th century, and make a refreshing stop at the Sea Museum, the Fishing Museum or the Salt Museum. The Aquarium, the Massapa Cisterns (18th century), the Calera mill, the lighthouse or the archaeological remains of the Portus Illicitanus (a 4th century Roman port) will complete your visit.

Looking for green parentheses? Direction the Natural Park of Las Salinas, famous for its preserved fauna and abundant flora. With its immense salt flats, small walking trails, bird watching sites and many pink flamingos, this magnificent place is not to be missed under any circumstances. Splendid by day, we also recommend that you go there at sunset to watch an absolutely dazzling show!

Santa Pola is appreciated by holidaymakers for its relaxing environment, its culture of course, but also (and above all!) for its beaches. With more than 11 kilometres of fine sandy beaches, Santa Pola offers you a wide range of possibilities according to your desires. Want to bubble under the sun on an intimate creek? Choose Ermita Beach or La Gola Beach. Looking for well-equipped beaches to satisfy the whole family? Direction the Levante Beach, the Grande Plage, the Lisa Beach, the Varadero Beach or the El Tamarit Beach. Fans of virgin beaches? The coves of Cuartel and Aljub will delight you with their amazing beauty. Finally, experienced sportsmen and curious people will be able to enjoy a wide range of water sports on the Santa Pola coast: snorkeling, jet-skiing, parachuting, parachuting, towed buoys, windsurfing, flyfish, boat trips on the island of Tabarca, banana boat, surfing, paddle, diving, kitesurfing...
