We went to Le Racou: very nice view while walking along the trail for a few kilometers. The little houses at the foot of the beach, it's adorable. The valley of the turtles in Sodene is an outing not to be missed (we did it in the morning: less people). We had lunch at "La Terrasse" (salads at the top). Also very good salmon at the restaurant "Seven Kfé". The duck breast a little bit overcooked at the restaurant "La Maison". Visit of Argelès Bourg (Notre Dame del Prat church).
Murielle
25/07/2020
Good and welcoming restaurant: "La Casa del Joker" in the pedestrian streets of the village (11 allée Jules Aroles). For a little "from elsewhere", the Tunisian restaurant "Poivre et Sel": copious and family-friendly.

18 years have passed since our last stay in Argeles sur mer, it has been a cold shower. Reception of the traders more than cold, small seafood restaurants disappeared.... All shops sell exactly the same thing and you have to like junk food (pizza, kebab, burger...) to eat. The only good tips: the port, the fireworks display and the restaurant "L'Escale" (divine meal but a little small portion for the price). A big gap: the showers on the beach.
Françoise
17/08/2019
"Casa Léon" in Collioure: very good fish dishes. "L'Améthyste" (port of Argelès): very good food. "Les Poissonneries de la Côte Catalane" in Port Vendres at the end of the port: not to be missed. "Casa Cap d'Ona" (Argelès Village): commercial area, local beers and entertainment.
Michele

We absolutely must go to Port Aventura. You also have to go to Salou in the evening, the fountains are lit and there is a lot of life at night. We enjoyed eating at the "Rock and Roll Grill", the cocktails are spectacular! You should also visit Tarragona and its cathedral and if you are a fan of markets like me: on Sundays, there is a huge market of 600 exhibitors in Bonavista that you shouldn't miss!
Benedicte
22/06/2019
The coastal path, from Raccou (parking on site) to Collioure: not to be missed! The view is magnificent, basketball and water bottle are essential, not recommended for small children because it is very steep.
Patricia
22/06/2019
Cool to do: the little train of Collioure which crosses the vineyards and makes us discover Fort Helme.
Audrey

At this period, the animations and the "heated" swimming pool are open: good for families. A nice mini golf outing for an afternoon, otherwise take the car and drive to Sigean to the animal park. Another exit to Spain (access to Barcelona is quite easy via the motorway - not very congested).

Many activities for children and visits to do. The free little train in April allows you to visit the region and is a great help to people who are not transported to do their shopping. The drivers are very helpful and friendly and will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
