Embraced by the Dordogne to the south and the Vézère to the east, the village of Limeuil is one of those little villages that one would love to keep just for oneself, like a secret. Member of the association "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France", this jewel of nature and culture is the ideal place for a holiday to discover the hidden treasures of France.

At the confluence of the Vézère and the Dordogne rivers, in the Purple Périgord and on the edge of the Black Périgord, Limeuil is definitely a very good idea for a cultural and exotic holiday. A medieval village and former trading port, nestled in the Pays des Bastides and Medieval Cities in the hollow of valleys dotted with abundant vegetation, it unfolds before the eyes of its visitors magnificent steep streets dotted with old houses made of rough stone and covered with brown tile roofs, which give it a crazy cachet. From alleyways to tree-lined plots, here, the panoramas are grandiose over the green nature that envelops the village in its protective setting. Leaning against its wide rocky hill, the commune of Limeuil spreads out to the small sandy banks that run alongside the river, in an exceptional setting. Go through the lower gate, one of the three ancient doors pierced in the walls of this medieval town, which opens onto splendid tangled streets.
