A small village typical of the Périgord Noir, located halfway between Sarlat and Montignac Lascaux, Saint-Geniès is one of the most beautiful villages in this region. Benefiting from a rich historical heritage, this village will seduce you during your walks, by its Romanesque church, its castle or its Chapel housing very beautiful classified frescos. You will also have the opportunity to admire the remains of the keep of the first castle of Saint-Geniès, which disappeared at the end of the religious wars.
