In Morbihan, at the end of a peninsula, Quiberon is a rare destination, in all seasons. With its air of the end of the world, it will surprise you by the beauty of its nature, the richness of its heritage and the choice of activities it offers.
Between wild coast and sheltered bay, Quiberon concentrates all the attractions of the sea. On the bay side, but also in the south of the resort, the fine sandy beaches invite you to relax and enjoy pure moments of well-being in the ocean. On the program: sailing, kayaking, paddle, windsurfing, diving, sand yachting, jet skiing, fishing on foot during high tides... On the wild coast, enjoy the beauty of the relief harassed by the waves and the winds and the splendor of the cliffs covered with carnations and seaweeds. At low tide, you can also discover many enchanting sites such as the Trou du souffleur, the Port Bara cave and the Port Blanc arch.
After a few hours at the water's edge, discover the resort's heritage. Inhabited since the Mesolithic period (5000 years BC), Quiberon has countless traces of its past, starting with its prehistoric sites: the covered alley and the menhir of Pointe-de-Guéritte. While strolling along the large beach, you can appreciate the beautiful villas built at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. At the end of this beach, you can also admire the Turpault castle, built in 1904 in an English medieval style. But also enjoy the charm of the fishing port, Port Maria, and the animation of the marina, Port Haliguen.
The Quiberon peninsula is an ideal place to go for a walk, a bike ride or even a horse ride. Numerous hiking trails (including the famous "sentier des douaniers") and bicycle paths (including the coastal greenway) will allow you to discover the small villages scattered around the resort. Visit Manémeur (menhirs), Kerné (Gallo-Roman stele), Kernavest... If you dream of the open sea, head for the islands and their unique landscapes: Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat, Hoédic. Back in Quiberon, settle down in a good restaurant, facing the sea, to savor the local products: seafood, fish, pancakes, Kouign Aman, Niniches...

For the gourmets we recommend the Rguidel house for its local and regional pastries. For walking or jogging, the wild coast is ideal for oxigating and taking in the sights.

We recommend 2 restaurants: "Le Triskell" in Quiberon (seafood), excellent value for money, very friendly and professional waiters (remember to book to be on the terrace) and the creperie "Avel Mor" in Portivy (family restaurant, excellent and cheap pancakes!). In Lorient, it is possible to visit a submarine: book several days in advance.

Extraordinary creperie called "Le Café du Midi". It's really good and the decor is from another era. It feels great. Restaurant "La Marine": small menu but super good products and warm people who welcome you with a natural smile. To discover absolutely.
