Ancient capital of the world, the current capital of Italy, Rome is an eternal city that fascinates with its beauty and richness, with its historical monuments, picturesque neighborhoods and tasty gastronomy you will be inevitably conquer.
It is very difficult to know where to start the visit of Rome so many wonderful things to see. One solution is maybe to go back in history. So start your fabulous walk through the Roman buildings that dot the city. Discover the Coliseum, a magnificent amphitheater built by the Emperor Vespasian, inaugurated in 80 and able to accommodate 50,000 people. Nearby, go for the Circus Maximus trail and enjoy the luxurious thermal baths of Caracalla. Then join the Roman Forum to admire its temples, its triumphal arches and basilicas, and then the nearby Museo Palatino. Finally, cross the superb bronze doors of the Pantheon, a true architectural gem of ancient Rome.
Make a jump of a few centuries to find yourself in the Renaissance Rome. This temporal pirouette will inevitably lead you to the heart of the Vatican City. The city is fascinated by the beauty of its monuments : Saint Peter's Basilica and its stunning circular square, the Apostolic Palace, the Governor's Palace... Among the many museums it houses, Visit the Sistine Chapel where Michelangelo painted his most beautiful frescoes. Outside the Holy See, many other masterpieces of the Renaissance will seduce you like the Palazzo Venezia, the Farnese Palace, the Villa Medici or the Trevi Fountain.
But also enjoy Rome by walking through its different districts with so contrasting atmospheres. In Trastevere, find the atmosphere of the Dolce Vita by strolling small squares in labyrinthic alleys. In Tridente, discover the beautiful Piazza del Popolo, the flower market of the Plazza di Spagna and do some shopping in the many fashion shops. To the north of the Trident, visit another unmissable place of the eternal city : Villa Borghese with its incredible museum and enchanting gardens. During your walks, take time to taste a good ice-cream in one of the many gelateria and, at the time of the meals, taste the succulent local specialties : spaghetti alla carbonara, pasta con this, baccalà, guanciale...

The park of La Villa Borghese and its tour by car/ pedal bike with the family for 4 or 6; ). The squares with the fountains, the walks in the Palatine districts, the Castle of St. Angelo, along the Tiber and around... so much to see and do you can't get bored in Rome!
