At the foot of the Massif des Maures, La Croix Valmer surprises by the splendour of its coastline and by its gentle way of life. On the shores of Cavalaire Bay, you will enjoy a unique natural environment to spend unforgettable holidays.
On the Côte d'Azur, La Croix Valmer seduces with its mild climate and beautiful landscapes. Bathed by the Mediterranean, the resort has a majestic coastline between beaches, pine forests, coves and cliffs. On the beach side, you will have the choice between the D-Day beach, long, golden and full of history, and others, smaller but all equally wonderful, like those of Sylvabelle, Iraclia or Gigaro, a little wilder. Take advantage of their turquoise waters to swim or practice many water sports : sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, pedal boat, paddle... or stay on the warm sand and contemplate, in the greatest serenity, the magical setting and the marine horizons.
After a few hours of relaxation on the beach, take the marked paths that criss-cross La Croix Valmer to discover all its riches. One of the routes will make you discover the splendid residences of the Belle Époque which decorate the resort: villas Turquoise, Louise, Couadan, Andalusia... You will also be able to admire the House of the Fathers of the Holy Spirit, so imposing that it is used as reference to the navigators, and the Orangeraie, superb building built in 1900. Other paths will lead you along the coast to Cap Lardier, towards the small Switzerland, a fresh and green forest surrounded by vineyards or towards the crests which offer superb panoramas on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, on the massifs of the Moors and the Esterel.
During your stay at the Valmer Cross, also take the time to visit the mythical sites of the Côte d'Azur. 12 kilometres away, discover Saint-Tropez, its old town with its picturesque lanes, its quay Mistral and its typical houses, its old port, its Place des Lices and its 17th century citadel. Also make some escapades to Ramatuelle, to Gassin, one of the most beautiful villages of France, to Grimaud, medieval village, to Port Grimaud, the small Venice of Provence and to Cogolin, craft village. And during your excursions, take advantage of the lunch break to taste all the flavours of Provence : soup with pistou, tapenade, ratatouille, aïoli, tart tropézienne...
