The seaside resort of Fouesnant is grouped under the name "Riviera Bretonne" with the communes of La Forêt-Fouesnant (to the east) and Bénodet (to the west), and it is quite naturally that it meets a great success with holidaymakers every year. A popular seaside destination for many years, it is home to some of the most beautiful homes on the coast, spread out over Cap Coz and Beg Meil. Lovers of wide open spaces will head for "Kerler Beach". Stretching down a long gentle slope, it offers a breathtaking view of the Glénan archipelago. Bordered by oyats, the "plage des Dunes" is also worth seeing. Families often set their sights on the beaches of Maner Coat Clevarec and Kerambigorn (3.5 km long), popular for their outdoor activities ranging from beach soccer to beach volleyball and racquet sports. Lovers of tranquility and spaces of rare beauty ? Open your parasol on one of the many coves along the Fouesnant coast. Under the sweet names of "Crique de la Roche Percée", "Crique de Lantecoste" or "Crique des Oiseaux", they all offer a magnificent setting for relaxing moments away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown beaches (although still very pleasant). If these coves are so little frequented, it is also because to reach them, you will sometimes have to make some small efforts, on foot, by boat or by bicycle. To have the opportunity to discover all the beaches of Fouesnant, we advise you to take the coastal path, an obligatory excursion to capture all the least secrets of this so pretty seaside resort. As for hiking, the GR 34 runs for 17 kilometres from Beg-Meil to Cap-Coz via the Natura 2000 classified Mousterlin polder, Penfoulic cove, the lagoon of the White Sea, the dunes and the Pointe de Mousterlin (and its marshes), offering courageous walkers splendid landscapes on the turquoise bay of the Forest, the sublime ocean and the beautiful old houses hidden in the pine forest. But the customs trail is not the only superb route since the Pays Fouesnantais is traversed by more than 250 kilometers of paths through a mosaic of unforgettable landscapes.

If you go to the Glénans archipelago, choose the 1pm departure because there is not much to do on the island and as the return is only at 17:00 it's a bit long.
