Oversea

The four Overseas Departments are former colonies and have almost continuously stayed French since their establishment in the 17th century. The status of the Overseas Departments was established by law on 19th March 1946 upon the creation of the French Union. Amongst these departments are Guadeloupe Martinique and La Reunion.
Guadeloupe's beauty comprises the charm and tranquility of the green rural area of Pointe-à-Pitre and above all the fascinating creole culture, which is elaborate and colourful. Beyond this dreamy image, Guadeloupe is extremely passionate about its creole identity and culture that gives the island its strength and pride.
Next is Martinique with coconut trees, warm sand and a Caribbean atmosphere. You can immediately notice that its picture postcard setting truly reflects the breathtaking reality and scenery that the island has to offer. The historical heritage of the West Indies (as with the whole Caribbean region) has created a rich culture from a mixture of African, American Indian and European elements.
Finally there is La Réunion . Far from the idyllic impressions of the Indian Ocean, La Réunion will satisfy hikers rather than those looking for leisure. Made up of volcanoes, cliffs, wild waterfalls and green jungles, the savage beauty of this island is worth visiting.
In the Overseas Departments we offer an amazing choice of private villas, houses and apartments for an unforgetable holiday. Let us help you find the place of your dreams for your next holiday rental.
