On the east bank of the Garonne, in the heart of the department of Haute-Garonne, Vielle-Toulouse is located in the southern suburbs of Toulouse. Elegant and opulent, this destination, although a little removed from what some people call the "pink city", is the ideal place to put your suitcases down and discover all the charms of the region.

Known to be one of the richest cities in Occitania, Vielle-Toulouse is located in the heart of the Toulouse countryside, in the middle of green landscapes particularly conducive to escape. An old, very old city, the town's origins go back a long, long way, as traces of its occupation have been found as early as the 3rd century. City of craftsmen and traders above all, Vieille-Toulouse is made up of beautiful buildings, which you can discover by walking in its village. Its houses with typical architecture are next to a beautiful church, the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, built during the 13th century. In Romanesque style, this building is distinguished by its pink stones, emblematic of the region, and impresses by the splendour and height of its bell-tower-wall, unique of its kind.

After visiting the town and enjoying its peace and quiet, why not put on your trainers for a short hike through the Confluence Garonne-Ariège Regional Nature Reserve, to discover all the unspoilt beauty of the local fauna and flora? With its landscapes changing with the seasons, this site, a must to see, will amaze the whole family and delight the sportsmen who will find a whole cascade of marked paths, for all levels of walkers, but also cycling routes. You can also take the Santiago de Compostela Way and the "Loop de la Bécane" (3.4 kilometres), accessible to both pedestrians and mountain bike aficionados, who will discover absolutely splendid landscapes. In addition to cycling and walking, during your holidays under the sun, you can also opt for tennis games for lovers or families thanks to 3 tennis courts, but also play pétanque at the boulodrome, or perfect your swing in its golf course, which has a superb 18-hole course with a view of the snow-covered mountains in the distance.
