With its 15 km coastline, Biscarrosse Plage invites you to fully enjoy the pleasures and benefits of the ocean. Renowned for the quality of its spots, the resort is a must for surfboard enthusiasts and hosts many international competitions. However, surfing is not the only water sport offered and you can sail on the waters in many other ways : sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing... On the beach, take the time to bask in the blue horizon, make sand castles with your children or spend a game of beach volleyball.
From Biscarrosse Plage, numerous hiking and cycling paths allow you to make escapades. Cross the maritime pine forests and discover the three lakes of the resort. On the northern lake, enjoy a boat ride, unforgettable moments in the Aquapark or a mind-blowing ascension parachute session. On the southern lake, visit the Latécoère site and the Hydraviation museum, which remind us that Biscarrosse was one of the high places of aviation and the first transatlantic flights. Then go to the historical centre of the resort to discover a fabulous heritage : the castle of Montbron (16th century), the church of Saint-Martin (14th century) and the museum of Traditions.
Your stay at Biscarrosse Plage will offer you the possibility to initiate yourself or practice many other sports: tennis, horse riding or golf on a forest-ocean course (18 holes) and a lake course (9 holes). But also take advantage of your privileged location in the heart of the Landes to admire some exceptional sites such as the Dune du Pilat, the Arcachon basin, Bordeaux and its vineyards... On the way, take a few lunch breaks to taste a local plate. Composed of local farm products and traditional, it will allow you to discover the Landaise flavors : foie gras, asparagus salad, duck parmentier...
