It has a uniquely rich heritage, known for its contrasting mix of contemporary buildings and authentic mountain villages, which makes it a special place. The area of the Grand Massif has long been the training ground for Antoine Dénériaz, Olympic downhill skiing champion at the 2006 Olympic Games, so if you fancy yourself as a future Olympic champion this is the place to ski.
