Oversea

The four Overseas Departments are former colonies and have continuously stayed French practically since their establishment in the 17th century. The status of Overseas Departments was applied by the law of 19th March 1946 creating the French Union. Amongst these departments, Guadeloupe is included. Guadeloupe's beauty comprises the charm of Pointe-à-Pitre, the green rural area and above all the creole culture, elaborate and colourful. But, beyond this dreamy image, Guadeloupe posseses a passionate creole identity and culture that gives the island its strength and pride.
Next is Martinique with coconut trees, warm sand and a Caribbean atmosphere. You can immediately observe that its picture postcard setting is the sweetened reflection of an elaborate and passionate reality. The historical heritage of the West Indies (as with the whole Caribbean region) has created a rich culture from a mixture of African, American Indian and European elements.
La Réunion is equally present in the Overseas Departments. Far from the idyllic impressions of the Indian Ocean, La Réunion will satisfy hikers rather than those looking for leisure. Made up of volcanoes, cliffs, wild waterfalls and green jungles, the savage beauty of this island is worth visiting.
In the Overseas Departments you will find an amazing choice of private villas, houses and apartments for a pleasant holiday. Let us help you find the place of your dreams for your next holiday rental.
