Description of the region
The Arcachon Basin is a destination that's easy to fall in love with.
Highlights include the Dune du Pilat, the cabanes tchanquées and the Ville d'Hiver.
Visitors also fall in love with remarkable sites such as the Cap Ferret Lighthouse and Point, the Banc d'Arguin and the jetties.
Oyster-farming villages and harbors also attract visitors, as do the bird sanctuary of Le Teich and, above all, the beaches.
