Un instant à Saulges is an exceptional gîte in terms of its size, 5 bedrooms, location and services. A bright gîte with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
The property is located 200 m from a working farm, so you'll sometimes see the tractors passing by, and the harvester in summer.
Saulges is a "Petite cité de caractère" (small town, churches, Merovingian necropolis). The Erve valley, a Natura 2000 site, is also renowned for its prehistoric caves. The site will delight hikers, mountain bikers and trail runners, with its varied paths, crags and Japanese steps... FFME-approved climbing site. And don't forget the Prehistory Museum: workshops and events for young and old.
Shops and services: in Ballée (6km) or Vaiges (13km).
Hiking from the gîte. In summer, swimming near the Saint-Céneré oratory (3km). In Mayenne, you can also visit Château-Gontier (34km), with its historic center and marina (kayak, paddle, boat and bike rentals), and the Refuge de l'Arche, a wildlife park with over a thousand wild animals in its care.

If you have not taken the housekeeping option, the €140 cleaning fee must be paid on arrival. It will be returned to you at the end of your stay, once the gîte has been left clean.

The gîte is on the D130, between Chéméré le Roi and Cossé-en-Champagne.
From Chéméré le Roi, pass the Moulin de Thévales, continue on the D130, do not head for Saulges. Continue on the D130 for 1.5km. Marpalu is on your left. After 300 m, the gîte is the 1st house on your right.
If you're in the village of Saulges, head for Val du Maine on the D235. Then, at the junction with the D130, head for Cossé en Champagne. This will be the 1st road on your left, after 300 meters, the gîte is the 1st house on your right.
