Along the Loire, between Angers and Nantes, stay on Europe's largest river island, 14km long. This former farmhouse on the banks of the Loire has been tastefully restored, with contemporary decor and carefully selected quality materials. Comfort and tranquility guaranteed.
This 65 m² vacation home comprises a 30 m² living room: small lounge with TV, fitted and equipped kitchen, dining area and direct access to the terrace. On either side of the living room are the two 11m² bedrooms, each with 2 90 x 200cm beds. The beds can be assembled or disassembled as required. On the same level you'll also find the shower room on one side and a separate toilet on the other.
Outside, the beautiful 20 m² terrace on stilts offers a view of the vegetation. A privileged vantage point for observing nature. The birds are singing... you'll feel right at home for the vacations! Garden furniture, lounge chairs, gas barbecue. Bikes of various sizes available for loan (2 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 children). Don't forget your helmets!
[TO SEE / TO DO] The Loire à Vélo itinerary passes in front of the gîte. Guinguette restaurant "Au Bout de L'île" 20 min by bike, Le Café Bondu on the banks of the Loire 15 min on foot, Chalonnes-sur-Loire and all its shops 4 min by car. Other ideas : Château de Serrant, cruises on the Loire, numerous wineries. For family outings: the kangaroo garden at La Possonnière, Terra Botanica and Aqua vita in Angers. Stop off at another island well worth a visit: Béhuard Island. Angers is 30 minutes away, with the Château du Roi René, the old town, the Cathédrale Saint Maurice, the beaux arts and the Musée Jean Lurçat. Stroll through the village of Bouchemaine, where the Maine and Loire rivers meet. Cycle around the island and along the Loire à vélo route to Nantes or Angers. Nantes, Saumur and Doué la Fontaine are just 1 hour from the gîte.
