Property for exclusive use
Exclusive former 19th-century mill, 300 m2 distributed over three floors, capable of accommodating 8 people with 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 with shower and one with whirlpool bath. The mill, which is surrounded by plenty of vegetation as well as the torrent that runs beneath it, features a large, unfenced terrace with dining table and barbecue. The accommodation is also equipped with satellite TV, Wi-Fi internet connection, cot, high chair and parking.
Outside
The Mill, located in a small valley along the Pescia torrent in the heart of the Swiss Pesciatine region, is the only structure to have preserved intact the original stone tunnel that connects it to the left bank of the torrent. On the north side, the current owners have brought back to life the old stone wall that allowed the water to converge to drive the stone millstones, once located inside; one of them is still visible as part of the external washhouse. The vegetation of the woods and the flow of water make this place an oasis of relaxation in contact with nature. The external garden, on several levels, is equipped with a large wooden table, a portable barbecue, sunbeds, a parasol and deckchairs. Access to the torrent and the natural swimming pool is via a tunnel dug entirely out of the stone, which you should walk through with care, paying particular attention to your head. Parking for up to three cars is available inside the property, on two terraces on both levels of the river. A secondary road passes close to the house.
Interiors
The mill, built entirely of stone and active until the early '50s, has been masterfully restored for residential use and furnished with rustic pieces that further characterize the premises. It has all the comforts to make guests feel at home. The street level leads to a large tavern featuring a stone kitchen with terracotta worktop, induction hob, fridge, wood-burning oven and a large table for guests' use. On the same floor there's a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower; from here, a steep internal staircase leads down to the lower floor, where we find a large, bright living room with sofas and a lovely, bright window overlooking the river. You'll be intrigued by the presence on your left of a glass door and stone steps that lead to the fascinating tunnel that leads directly to the natural swimming pool; from here you can also access the laundry area with washing machine, ironing board and iron; on your right, you'll find on the well-equipped terrace a large table for outdoor meals, a parasol and a portable barbecue. From the first floor you climb to the second floor, where you'll find a living room with fireplace, table, small sofa and cooking area with four burners, small electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower; from here, still via an internal wooden staircase, you reach the top floor with a double bedroom, a private bathroom with hydromassage bathtub, a comfortable futon bed for relaxing moments, and a small cooking area equipped with four burners, a microwave and a stone sink.

Il Mulino Del Rossino is located in Vellano, a hamlet in the commune of Pescia, in the province of Pistoia, the former capital of the Swiss Pesciatine region, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas of the Valdinievole. Immersed in the verdant vegetation of the Valleriana, it shares its ancient origins with nine other medieval villages, rich in culture and tradition, which together take the name of the Ten Castella of the Valleriana. Clinging to the summit of one of the promontories that rise up to control the valley, the mill is a place steeped in the history and traditions that have brought it into being and sustained it over time. Important information
The natural swimming pool is always open. Pets are allowed, but please note that the property is not fenced. Not suitable for children.

We're in the heart of the Swiss Pesciatina, 7 km from Pescia, with its many stores and the weekly market in Pistoia (30 km). All other towns are within easy reach by car.
