Family gite for 8 people with 4 bedrooms Located in the heart of the historic site of the D-Day landing beaches (Pointe du Hoc, American military cemetery, Sainte Mère Eglise) near Bayeux and in the heart of the Parc des Marais et du Cotentin, this comfortable gite is ideal for vacations with family or friends. The Perle and Serpolette donkeys, sheep, chickens and turkeys will delight young and old alike. The 120m2 "Le Marronnier" gîte comprises : First floor: living room (TV), separate, fully-equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board) and separate toilet. 1 bedroom (double bed) with shower room and WC. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 single beds), shower room with WC. Private enclosed courtyard and garden of 300m2 with garden furniture and barbecue. Marc and Laurence open their private, heated swimming pool to you from June to September, subject to compliance with the rules. From your gîte, you're just 2 minutes from the port of Grandcamp in Basse-Normandie, where you can stock up on provisions, buy your nightly catch of fish and, if you wish, have your order of bread and pastries delivered each morning. The "le Marronnier" gîte has been awarded the Tourisme Handicap label. Rental of medical equipment (bed, lift) is available on request, as well as assistance from caregivers. Pets are welcome, provided they respect people, animals and property.
