This retreat, away from mega-hotels and overcrowded tourist centers, boasts a special magic. Its secret has been well kept by the Portuguese, who have cherished this area for its unique charm for many years.
You'll find yourself facing a wild beach in a protected natural landscape, separated from the mainland by the 'Ria Formosa,' which originates at the Cacela peninsula, at the foot of the historic village of 'Cacela Velha.'
