Location
The heart of Alghero is its medieval Old Town, also known as the "Barceloneta", where visitors this elegant apartment is located. Guests can explore historic sites including the Cattedrale dell’ Immacolata Concezione (a 15-minute walk), which features a distinctive bell tower and soak in the charm while walking through the narrow, winding streets that intersect to form a maze of streets. Restaurants, cafes, and shops are within a stone’s throw of the apartment.
Located north of the city's historical centre, the local beach, Lido di Alghero (a 5-minute walk, is perfect for swimming and sunbathing featuring approximately 1.5 km of golden sand and crystal clear, shallow waters. Lido di Alghero is also ideal for windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle surfing. Beach lovers will also enjoy Maria Pia (a 5-minute drive) and Bombarde Beach (a 13-minute drive).
A short boat ride from Alghero, Neptune's Grotto (a 30-minute drive away) is a mesmerizing cave complex with stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Visitors can reach the cave via guided boat tours or by descending the steep staircase. For adventure in nature, the Capo Caccia cliffs (a 35-minute drive away) also provide hiking trails with breathtaking views. The closest airport to the accommodation is Fertilia Airport (AHO), which is approximately a 10-minute drive away. A damage deposit of 300EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
