The Quercia 2 flat is what you are looking for if you want to relax surrounded by nature!
Thanks to its location, it enjoys an optimal climate in any season: in winter, the interior is easily heated thanks to a fireplace in the living room and radiators in every room of the house; in summer, on the other hand, the temperature (both the outside temperature due to the vegetation and the inside temperature) is pleasantly cool (also due to the fact that the structure is antique) without any need for air conditioning.
In addition, being in an isolated location slightly away from the town centre, it is the perfect destination for those who wish to spend their holidays in absolute peace and tranquillity, breathing fresh air and staying away from city traffic.
The main building, La Casa della Quercia, is also rented in 2 independent flats, Quercia 2 is as follows :
The flat, which is located on the ground floor, is approximately 120 square metres in size. Moreover, as it is exactly mirror-image to the flat on the upper floor, the two flats are both structurally identical. Immediately after the entrance on the right is the kitchen, which is rather large, with induction cooker, regular and microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and a whole range of appliances and utensils at guests' disposal. Opposite the kitchen is the living room, which is also spacious and has a fireplace, TV and two sofas, one of which can be converted into a sofa bed if required. Beyond the kitchen, on the same side there is the first bathroom, equipped with shower, while on the opposite side there is a first double bedroom, equipped with wardrobe, chest of drawers and very large TV. Opposite is a second bedroom, also with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower.
Lastly, at the end of the corridor is the laundry area, with a washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board and drying rack for guests' use. The flat sleeps 6 and is very comfortable.
In addition, on the ground floor, there is a games room, a common space that can be shared to spend moments of joy and serenity. Inside, guests will find a billiard table with holes and cues, a foosball table and a dartboard for playing darts. This area can be accessed via two separate doors and guests will be provided with keys. Please note that as it is a communal area, if the other flat is rented, other guests will also have access to it.
The house, as can also be seen from the pictures, is completely surrounded by greenery.
A few steps from the flat there are beehives from which an excellent honey is skilfully extracted, of various flavours and totally organic.
All this contributes to giving a taste of what is an experience in total symbiosis with nature and the beauty that only she can offer us and offer you.
The history of this building goes back a long way. Until the middle of the last century, the structure was used as a farmhouse, where a family of farmers lived who also worked the surrounding fields. Later, when the farmers decided to change their house and move to the nearest village, my grandfather, who was the owner at the time, decided to carry out renovation work on the house and make it into two flats, which have been rented out ever since.
Perfect to use as a base from which to visit the region of Tuscany. A damage deposit of 5000EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
