The Gîte is located in a hamlet in a rural setting, 20 km from Royan and 17 km from the beaches.
Places to discover : Pons and its medieval center 16 km,Talmont one of the most beautiful villages in France 17 km,Mescher with its troglodytic caves and sandy beaches 17 km,Royan 25 km one of the main seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast.
Take the time to discover the surrounding area by bike if you feel like it.
Set course for Fort Boyard
A stone ship with a bulging carcass, Fort Boyard stands in the very heart of the Pertuis, halfway between the islands of Aix and Oléron.
Fort Boyard is not open to the public, AND IS NOT VISITABLE, but many organized sea excursions offer an admirable view of it, notably aboard the Croisières Inter-îles.
We'll do our utmost to ensure that you enjoy your stay at La Galerne.
Regarding charges: A service charge package for household linen is available for 80 euros (sheets, towels, bath towels, tea towels).
We also offer a cleaning package at 120 euros, billed at the time of booking, and a 6 euro/day charge for air-conditioning or heating (where applicable).

The accommodation is spacious and tastefully equipped, and the kitchen opens onto the living room, allowing you to spend time with your family while preparing meals.
