Cosy property with swimming pool and private gym 4 km from Figline and Incisa Valdarno, in the Upper Florentine Valdarno area, between the Pratomagno massif and the Chianti mountains. Two distinct centres, but united by the beauty of a landscape that has fascinated painters and poets. The property is composed of three distinct buildings: the first offers two studio apartments adjacent to each other, but not communicating from the inside, the second, in the central one, offers two two-room apartments adjacent to each other, but not communicating from the inside, one of which has a private terrace with a pleasant view of the swimming pool, the third consists of a double bedroom with private bathroom. The property has been carefully and thoughtfully renovated to offer a warm and welcoming environment with typical Tuscan finishes. Four flats offer an essential kitchenette to be independent. Location: Figline, with Etruscan and Roman origins, experienced great cultural fervour during the Renaissance. Evidence of the settlement dates back to 1008, when the inhabitants descended into the valley to build the Castle of Feghine. Today, sites of considerable historical interest are preserved here.Incisa is a village rich in tradition, which still retains the charm of medieval splendour. It was in this town that the poet Francesco Petrarca lived with his family during his early childhood. His house can be visited today, as it has become a cultural centre for initiatives such as exhibitions and workshops. A few kilometres away from Florence (35 km), the Tuscan countryside opens up in all its beauty. The woods of Reggello (20km) are perfect for seeking silence and relaxation: after a visit to Vallombrosa (26km), amidst nature and abbeys, you can treat yourself to a break at trattorias with a rustic and genuine soul. In Impruneta (26 km), on the other hand, you can savour the wisdom of the craftsmen: Impruneta terracotta, a material that has historically characterised the landscape of Tuscany, is produced here. The Florentine dome of Santa Maria del Fiore, for example, is made of terracotta tiles from Impruneta; the same goes for many Della Robbia sculptures. Greve in Chianti(17km); Radda in Chianti (25km); Arezzo (56km); Certaldo (70km); San Gimignano (77km); Outlet Valdichiana (75km). Florence airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car (47km).
