The characteristic little walled village of Serre di Rapolano is beautifully situated on a hill on the edge of the Crete Senesi in the south of Siena. Stroll through the romantic historic alleyways and visit the travertine quarries, one of the special features of this area. You can also spend the rest of the day in one of the nearby thermal baths. If you are planning a spring visit to Serre di Rapolano, don't miss the medieval spring festival of Serremaggio. The vacation apartment is also an ideal starting point for exploring Siena, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Italy.
