This spacious vacation apartment for a total of five adults and one baby is centrally yet quietly located on the owners' approx. 1,100 m² residential property on the first floor of a residential building. Shopping facilities and restaurants are only approx. 300 m away, the town center with its harbour, the famous swing bridge and other gastronomic facilities or the lido on Lake Malchow can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot.
The bright, tastefully furnished, approx. 76 sqm non-smoking apartment, modernized in 2015, has a large living room (couch, dining table, flat screen TV, radio/CD, DVD player), a complete kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances, small seating area, microwave, dishwasher) and a bathroom. Small kitchen appliances, small sitting area, direct access to the terrace), two bedrooms (bedroom 1: double bed, flat screen TV, bedroom 2: double bed, single bed), shower and WC (separate), a hallway and central heating. Furthermore, free Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace, seating in the garden, barbecue, parking lot (public area), high chair, crib and a secure shed for bicycles are available. A washing machine can be used by arrangement.
The small town of Malchow is a tourist gem in the center of the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is also known as the island town, as the old town, which is well worth seeing, is surrounded by the Fleesensee and the Malchower See. An earth dam and a listed swing bridge, which opens several times a day for boat traffic, connect the two parts of the town. There are also passenger boat moorings, a harbor, restaurants, cafés and shopping facilities here. Other attractions include the monastery church, the town mill, a large bathing beach, a summer toboggan run, a monkey forest and a riding stables just outside the town, as well as boat and bicycle hire directly in the town and wellness, sports and golf facilities at the nearby vacation resort Land Fleesensee.
