Style : Comfortable and very pleasant villa in large landscaped grounds with lovely furnished terraces. Between Avignon and Cavaillon (15 km), 1500m from the village with shops. 15mn from Avignon airport. A great base to discover this beautiful region.

"Everything about this Villa, the booking agent, Rent Villas France and the owners was superb.

From the moment I initially enquired about the property and until the final payment, the communication and response to queries by the agent made the whole process simple and stress free.

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by the very friendly French owners who gave us a tour and provided us with cold drinks on a very hot day.

The house was beautifully furnished, very clean and had surprises not evident on the initial advert such as a large utility area with a large fridge freezer with ice maker and a separate large freezer as well as all the usual facilities. There was also a large flat screen TV and Blue-ray player on the first floor in an air conditioned room with sofas located between the two double bedrooms.

Outside, the sweep around tiled terrace with a number of sitting areas and tables complimented the great Built in BBQ.

The kitchen facilities and bedrooms were great and the air conditioning on the first floor was the most effective I have encountered to date.

More than adequate bed linen and towels were provided and there was plenty of wardrobe space in each of the bedrooms.

The bathrooms with showers were absolutely ideal and there was the bonus of the further shower in the annexe. Unlike most houses, there was no loss in water pressure or hot water when both showers were in use simultaneously.

The gardens were beautifully tended to, providing additional seating and sun loungers by the immaculately clean swimming pool.

The gardens are predominantly enclosed by walls and hedges providing the necessary privacy, there is a long private drive leading from a remote controlled security gate off the quiet residential road. Although the access roads are quite narrow, we had no issues with access or leaving the property in two large family cars.

We had 7 adults in our party and initially only saw 5 sun loungers and although this was not a main issue, the owners went and purchased a further four for our use and delivered them to the property within an hour after handover.

During the first few days of our stay and following a night time electrical storm we woke to find no hot water in the main house. We called the owners who responded within an hour and sorted the problem (a fuse had gone due to the storm). A truly great response.

We expected the owners to visit the villa from time to time to clean the pool and this they did, impressively before we even got out of bed in a morning and they did not disturb us once throughout the whole two weeks.

The villa is located in a quiet residential area just over a kilometre from Caumont Sur Durance which has a small supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, bar and other amenities.

A new Super U supermarket selling fresh meat and fish, vegetables, fruit, bread a well as everything else you would need on a day to day basis has recently opened on the outskirts of the town and this is literally a 2 - 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the villa.

There are plenty of restaurants in nearby villages and a 20 minute drive to L'Isle Sur La Sorgue with numerous river side restaurants, antique shops and ice cream parlours provides a very nice day or evening out.

The villa is ideally located to explore this beautiful region of France and has easy access from the A7 Autoroute.

In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending this lovely and homely villa, the owners are great people who clearly care about their guests going out of their way to ensure a trouble free holiday and the booking agents were superb." DJ, UK, August 2013.
