Discover the ideal retreat for nature lovers and adventurers looking for peace and quiet: our mountain gîte in Chastreix in the heart of the Sancy Massif, a true haven of peace located just 3 km from all amenities at La Tour d'Auvergne (bakery, butcher's shop, supermarket, tabac presse, doctor, pharmacy, restaurants...) and 5 minutes from the Chastreix-Sancy ski resort.
This picturesque gîte of around 120m², nestled in a hamlet that gives the impression of being alone in the world, opens its doors to you for an authentic experience.
The property has three comfortable bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 people (2 double bedrooms, 1 double bedroom), perfect for families or groups of friends. The bathroom is fully equipped to meet your needs after a day of exploring.
The inglenook fireplace sits at the heart of the spacious living area, promising warm evenings and unforgettable moments of sharing.
The fully-equipped kitchen invites you to concoct delicious meals, with equipment such as microwave, oven, coffee maker, and even a raclette machine for savoring local gastronomy.
The decor reflects the mountain character, with beautiful stonework surrounding the inglenook fireplace and wooden furniture adding to the cosy atmosphere.
Take time to recharge your batteries on the veranda, where the exceptional views of the surrounding landscape will take your breath away, whatever the season. The outdoor grounds are the perfect place for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the sun amidst the lush greenery.

A car port is available for parking and protecting your vehicle.
Arrivals are around 4pm and departures around 11am. You will be welcomed by Adèle or Mary.

Just 8km from the family-friendly ski resort of Chastreix-Sancy, our gîte is the perfect place for winter sports enthusiasts, with easy access to ski slopes (downhill and cross-country), snowshoe trails and memorable experiences such as dog-sledding. The other two resorts are Mont-Dore and Super-Besse.
When the snow melts and the landscape changes, the resort becomes a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Marked trails lead you through the Maison de la Réserve Naturelle de Chastreix-Sancy, where you can explore the unique biodiversity of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. Take advantage of interactive exhibits and guided walks to get to the heart of the local flora and fauna.
Every season has its own range of activities: lakes and rivers offer opportunities for fishing, canoeing and relaxing by the water. The region is also renowned for its AOP cheeses, such as Saint-Nectaire, which can be enjoyed after a day of discovery or during a picnic in the countryside.
