On the edge of the beautiful village of Oostkapelle, 6 luxury holiday apartments and 1 holiday home have been realized in the former farm De Grote Geere.
The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has undergone various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a bakkeet, wagon house and pig house) was rebuilt for you into a holiday home and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.
The Grote Geere is best described by luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

AccommodationCelebrate holidays in a top accommodation. That is possible here, all luxury and comfort is present. On the ground floor is a cozy living room with open kitchen, equipped with all conveniences such as dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee filter machine and nespresso. The toilet can be found behind a portal in the hallway. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with two box-spring beds and a small seating area. There is also a spacious bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower with sun shower and a bathtub. All sleeping places have box-spring beds. There is no floor covering or heating with blowing fans, furthermore all (furniture) dust in the home is anti-bacterial. Pets are allowed on request.
ComplexThere are luxury apartments in the former real Zeeland barn. There are 3 and 4-person apartments realized in addition to a wheelchair-accessible apartment that is suitable for 6 people. In every apartment there is the possibility to add a cot. There is also an outbuilding with annex where a separate room with washing machine and dryer is available. The Grote Geere has a shared playground and private parking. In addition, each apartment has its own entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional group room that can be used to meet each other, play games, hold meetings or celebrate a festive occasion.
SurroundingsOostkapelle is one of the larger centers of the municipality of Veere and owes its name to a chapel that must have been here in ancient times. Oostkapelle borders two beautiful nature areas between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: the Manteling (740 ha), a wide strip of land with dunes and forests and the Oranjezon dune area (400 ha. There are also the country estates and the impressive Westhove Castle. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum for nature and landscape, is only 750 meters from the beach and has a 2.5-hectare landscaped garden, a museum café and a museum shop.

The Rescue brigade with a first aid post is available from May to September.
