This cozy house is located in the Vall del Rio Foix, in the town Torrelles de Foix, Catalonia. Due to its magnificent location, it is a house designed to discover the most interesting places in Catalonia.
Torrelles de Foix is a town of 800 inhabitants watered by the waters of the Foix river and its tributary “la riera de Pontons”. To verify this, you only have to take a tour of the old washhouses, drinkers and remains of the advanced irrigation system that was built in the Middle Ages and that turned the town into one of the most important agricultural centers in the region. Customers can enjoy the municipal swimming pool that is located in the middle of nature just 1 km from the house. The entrance for the clients of the house has a special price and is available during the months of July and August.
The house has an area of 114 m2. It has a kitchen-dining room, living room with fireplace and television. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a toaster, electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, electric oven.
There are 3 double bedrooms, a shower room and a spacious bathroom. In addition, the house will have central heating, washing machine, musical equipment and internet connection. A cot is available at no additional charge.
Its location is unbeatable thanks to its proximity to the most tourist spots in Catalonia: It is located 20 minutes from Vilafranca del Penedés, 50 minutes from Barcelona and Tarragona (Port Aventura), just 30 minutes from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and from the beaches of Vilanova and Sitges, and 45 minutes from the Monastery of Montserrat. The house provides tranquility and relaxation.
You can go on different excursions, wine tastings or go hiking and cycling. It is recommended to visit the Dous, a source where there are no more and no less than 35 water emanations. Also enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Alto Penedès region from the Sanctuary of Foix.
