Location
Cassis is a particularly well-known and popular tourist destination in the Bouches-du-Rhône region. At the heart of an exceptional natural setting, the town is protected on one side by Cap Canaille, Europe's highest sea cliff, and on the other by the calanques. Situated between the Provencal hinterland and the Mediterranean Sea, Cassis is an old fishing village and still a charming fishing port.
