Huge beautiful villa for 12 persons (+ 3 persons possible upon request) in an amazing location close to Castiglion Fiorentino in the hills near Arezzo, with private pool and a spectacular view.
Surroundings:
Located in the middle of a very big farm (olive products and other regional crops) between the cities of Arezzo and the characteristic Etruscan city Cortona, the villa is situated in a peaceful area on top of a Tuscan hill. The property is sheltered, sunny with a panoramic view, and located near the ruins of a medieval castle that is on the property as well. Surrounded by olive groves and woods this charming villa is ideal for those who are looking for a quiet stay and relaxation. The farm is dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees. The plantation was built by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, around the year 1570.
The Trasimeno lake is approximately 25 kilometers by car.
Interior:
The villa is located in an area that covers approximately 50,000 square meters of olive groves and woods and consists of 10 rooms on 2 floors plus an attic, with a total living area of 320 m2. The villa has been renovated with elegance and with respect for the Tuscan tradition. The 6 rooms, all with private bathrooms (bath or shower) can accommodate up to 15 people (3 additional on request). Common areas, dining room and living room are spacious and bright, with equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi.
Exterior:
The Villa has a beautiful swimming pool with an amazing view of the beautiful Tuscan landscape.
The pool is open from early May to the end of September. It is 13 x 6 m and is 1,4 m deep.
'The Clue' is the private restaurant in the basement, available for guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the possibility of tasting local products, as well as cooking classes, but only upon request. This restaurant can accommodate up to 60 people, and will not be available for other people during the rental period.
Due to its location, Margherita is well suited for family events, other special occasions as well as a fabulous holiday locations.
