Holiday rental in Provence, very quiet, with balcony, in a pleasant apartment located 12km from Carpentras and 16 from Vaison-la-Romaine. Benefiting from an unobstructed view over the wonderful castle that dominates the superb village of Le Barroux, in the Vaucluse, this bright apartment is located on the 1st floor of the owners' house and offers a lot of comfort, with its beautiful living room opening onto the outside, allowing for friendly meals. 5km away, the Lac du Paty awaits you for picnicking, fishing and swimming in summer, surrounded by magnificent hiking trails. Nestled between vineyards and olive groves, in the land of the Ventoux, Le Barroux offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Comtat plain, the Monts de Vaucluse, the Dentelles de Montmirail and of course the famous Géant de Provence, whose immaculate summit culminates at almost 2000m. The village can be visited on foot, through sumptuous cobbled and flowered alleys. The location of this beautiful holiday home is privileged: Rue St Denis, where it is located, is dotted with magnificent old facades and leads directly to the magnificently restored 12th century castle (a large part of which can be visited) and its listed gardens. Very close to the famous Route des Vins des Côtes-du-Rhône, whose great wines are enjoyed in the shade of the plane trees, discover the perched villages that dot it like Beaumes-de-Venise and its famous Muscat at 9km. You will be seduced by the surrounding cities: Orange and its listed monuments await you 30km away, Avignon, with its Palace, its perched gardens, its cruises on the Rhône, its lively city centre, 37km away. Go to the Luberon, its cities and landscapes renowned throughout the world, passing through Isle-sur-Sorgue, the city of antique dealers crossed by many canals, Saumane and its magnificent golf course, Fontaine de Vaucluse and its mysterious spring. The amusement parks of Wave Island and Spirou, the Crocodile Farm, the Fortress of Mornas, are less than an hour away.
